Do I Need Coaching? Why I Created The New 2-Minute Coaching Quiz

There’s a very specific moment that tends to happen before someone reaches out for coaching.

Not the “I’m ready to invest in myself” moment.

The moment before that.

The one where you sit there quietly thinking:

“I don’t actually think I’m okay.”

And almost immediately afterwards:

“But maybe I’m overreacting.”
“Everyone feels like this.”
“I should be able to sort this myself.”

That internal back-and-forth is exactly why I created the new 2-minute coaching quiz.

Because most people don’t wake up one morning confidently announcing they need life coaching.

Usually, they’ve spent months — sometimes years — trying to convince themselves they don’t.

The Problem With Waiting Until Things Get “Bad Enough”

A lot of people think they only “deserve” support once things become unbearable.

Once they’re completely burnt out.
Completely overwhelmed.
Completely lost.

But honestly? By that point, you’ve usually been struggling for much longer than you realised.

The tricky thing about emotional overwhelm, stress and feeling stuck is that they often become normal slowly.

You adapt to them.

You get used to:

  • overthinking every decision

  • feeling emotionally exhausted

  • constantly doubting yourself

  • functioning on autopilot

  • feeling disconnected from yourself

  • carrying everything alone

And because you’re technically still functioning, you convince yourself you’re fine.

The coaching quiz was designed to interrupt that autopilot for two minutes and ask:

How are you actually doing?

Why I Created A “Do I Need Coaching?” Quiz

Honestly? Because so many people are walking around needing support while simultaneously talking themselves out of getting it.

Especially the capable people.

The ones who are:

  • high-functioning

  • independent

  • always there for everyone else

  • emotionally aware but still stuck

  • exhausted from holding everything together

A lot of people don’t need someone to “fix” them.

They need permission to stop minimising their own experience.

That’s what the quiz is really for.

Not diagnosing you.
Not labelling you.
Not deciding your life for you.

Just helping you notice where you are emotionally, mentally and psychologically right now.

What The Coaching Quiz Helps You Understand

The new 2-minute coaching quiz is designed to help you reflect on:

  • whether you’re emotionally overwhelmed

  • whether you’ve become stuck in unhealthy patterns

  • how much self-doubt is affecting you

  • whether burnout has become your normal

  • whether coaching could genuinely help you move forward

Because sometimes the biggest barrier to coaching isn’t money or time.

It’s honesty.

It’s admitting:

  • you’re struggling

  • you’re unhappy

  • you’re exhausted

  • you don’t want to keep coping like this forever

And that can feel surprisingly vulnerable.

What If I Can Handle This Myself?

This is probably the most common thought people have before taking the quiz.

And honestly, it’s one of the biggest signs that support might actually help.

Somewhere along the line, many of us learned that needing help equals failure.

That if we were stronger, smarter, calmer, more organised or more resilient, we’d magically be able to handle everything alone.

But emotional wellbeing doesn’t work like that.

You are not failing because you feel overwhelmed.
You are not weak because you feel stuck.
You are not dramatic because you’re tired of carrying everything internally.

Sometimes self-awareness sounds like:

“I don’t think this is working for me anymore.”

The Quiz Isn’t About Judging You

There’s enough content online already telling people how to optimise themselves into oblivion.

This isn’t that.

The quiz isn’t designed to make you feel broken.
It’s designed to help you feel honest.

Honest about:

  • your stress levels

  • your emotional capacity

  • your confidence

  • your coping patterns

  • whether you might benefit from support

Because avoiding the truth about how you feel doesn’t make it disappear.

Usually, it just keeps you stuck for longer.

Take The 2-Minute Coaching Quiz

If you’ve been wondering:

  • “Do I need coaching?”

  • “Why do I feel so stuck?”

  • “Why am I exhausted all the time?”

  • “Why do I overthink everything?”

  • “Could coaching actually help me?”

…then the quiz is a good place to start.

You can take it here:

And if you’re still unsure afterwards, you can also book a discovery call and talk things through properly:

The Complicated Coach Discovery Call

You don’t need to justify why you’re struggling before you ask for support.
